and exactly how do you recharge it.. inside the house?? i dont have a garage ( which im thinking would be the best way to charge it)..
im talking about a moped / scooter the ones that are designed like seatable motorcycles not the kick stand type for kids.. pretty much a regular motor gas scooter / moped whichever one you like to call it but the electric kind.. they sell them at amazon.com
ive been thinking about buying a gas scooter and an electric scooter as back up.. or maybe just the electric scooter first because theyre cheaper then gas scooter when ill put out more money .. but the only thing thats turning me off is the fact it looks like you have to charge the thing up like every day or every couple days .. which would kill my patience not to mention my utility bill
if anybody owns an electric scooter is it a pain in the azz to keep up maintenence wise ( recharging and keep it running )..was it worth your money or no My neighbor had an electric scooter and it was always breaking down. In theory you just plug it in every night and your done. But the electric scooters are often built real cheap and you'll never recoup the money spent vs. money saved on gas.
I had an gas scooter and most 2 stroke engines need "winterizing" every time you put them away (even during the warm weather). Once they become hard to start, it'll always take 5 to 10 minutes to start - every time.
New 4 stroke gas scooter, are much easier to maintain. But now you are talking about few thousands of dollars (in USA). |
