What are good fuel to oil ratios for 49cc gas scooters.?

I need a good fuel to oil ratio for my scooter to make it go faster.

32 to 1 is the most common fuel ratio. This is your best bet since you do not know the OEM recommendation. If you want to play the guessing game... start off with 32:1 (If it has alot of blue smoke) then try 40:1 then 50:1. Unless you find out the correct spec... do not exceed 50:1. You don't want to cause a melt down (catastrophic failure)

Check under the fuel cap and see if it is embossed anywhere on it. Otherwise, try 30:1.

Rocket Pocket Bikes Make sure you properly mix your 2 cycle (2 stroke) oil with your gas. (Use low or middle grade gas, anything higher will over heat your bike and void your warranty) Rocket Pocket Bikes are mixed at a 32:1 ratio (said 32 to 1) or a 35:1 ratio. These are good mixture ratios to run your rocket pocketbike. If you have read your pocketbike manual, Follow these instructions listed Here, your manual is wrong. Once you have broken your Pocket Bike in and have used at least 5 full tanks of gas, you can go up to a 40:1 mix ratio.

The fuel to oil ratio won't affect power much, if at all. The oil is needed to lubricate the engine, but too much makes it smoke.

If you want more power, maybe try a little octane booster from an auto parts store? Don't think it would hurt anything.

if you use a good synthetic 2 stroke oil,the ratio should be 2 per cent,metric:20 cc for 1 quart of gas,or slightly less than 3 oz per gallon of gas,that oil will smoke less than regular oil but will protect your engine more,

The more oil, the lower the octane gets, and more it smokes of course.... 32:1 is a good all around mix... so is 40:1.

Stop and listen... If you have a chinese brand 2-stroke scooter the mix is probably 25 to 1 and you can use 32 to 1 with a synthetic oil. BUT... some scooters require 40 to 1 such as the Boxer built by Santa Cruz Scooter Works. The wrong mix WILL screw up your scooter. You can fry your piston or bust the rings or even crack the head not to mention that the carburator will have to be cleaned out if you don't use the right mix. Unfortunately knowing the name of a scooter doesn't do me any good as there are so many different scooters out there. If you want better performance out of your scooter then use synthetic oil. Torco is a good brand for scooters. If you don't know your ratio then look up the name of your scooter on the net and call one of the companies that carry that name. If you want your scooter to go faster then I suggest you put a high performance air filter on it as well as replacing the muffler or canister with a high performance one.
