Can you ride electric or gas scooters in the rain if you had to.?

I ride my E-bike rain or shine. the components are weatherproofed so it doesn't matter. I just prefer sunny personally.
I have seen them in use in San Fransisco and Seattle and Vancouver so weather is not an issue for an electric bike and they do not pollute as much as a stinky gas scooter.

My first choice will be gas scooter,because no matter what they same about pollution ,in cold rainny day ,only a gas scooter could be trusted.

But, if there is development in electric batteries,that is, if they long live and even in cold ,if they don't stop,then it could be chosen as an option.

I own an electric bicycle and an electric scooter. I use them to commute to work, and for trips around town, but I avoid riding on wet pavement. I have been caught in a shower on occasion, but I would much rather have four wheels on a wet surface than two. I usually ride on the street, but with the electric bike can also use bike paths. Top speed is around 15 mph, but since I my work is just across town, and I don't have to search for a parking space, the trip is quicker on the bike, than in the car.

The road's more slippery, so you have to allow for that.

Get an electric scooter that folds up. That way if a bus comes, you can fold it and hop on. Gas scooters are not allowed on buses due to the flammable fuel, and non-folding scooters aren't allowed because they're too bulky.
