Hey guys, Just a quick question that I cant seem to find anywhere
Im not 16 yet, but im in a bind to where my school is just barely too far to walk to and yet too close to drive to. There are no buses here in Hawaii that will take me to my school at a reasonable time.
Seems like a Scooter would be a good idea, A gas powered one that could crank up to about 50 MPH.
My biggest problem is finding what the age laws and requirements are.
Do I have to have a drivers liscense or just my permit? I was told Permit is all I need but a second opinion would be fantastic.
Thank you friends :D Aloha: If you buy a moped, ( stock ) in Hnl, you register it as a bike, and you do not need a licenses. you can mod the moped to 70cc and and obtain speeds of up to and over 50 mph. Just cannot ride the hwy/freeways. If you get a scooter/motorcycle to ride the hwy/freeway, you will need a permit or licenses. Might want to call the licenses division and get the correct info. |
