Little Scooter.?

I drive a little motor scooter now. It has cut my gas amount used from 12 gal. down to less then half a week. I would like to further refine this by using E-85 that I would make with grass cuttings. The problem is you have to get a permit to run a gas plant of this type and there is no E-85 around.

Is there an alternative to this?

Also where could I find a 2-cycle environmentally friendly oil?

I forgot to mention the reason I cant get a permit is I live in an appartment. I also don't know anyone here to use their property.

Depending on how far you need to travel, a viable alternative would be to sell your scooter and get an electric version.

The Zapino can go up to 30mph and 30 miles per charge for $3000, or up to 65 miles per charge if you upgrade to a lithium ion battery:

There's also the option of an electric bicycle for on the order of $500. Mine goes about 13 miles per charge at 17 mph, but it's a cheap one, and it will go significantly further at 15 mph. Currie Technologies makes some good ones:

Ethanol is not a viable petroleum substitute anyway. Try bio-diesel or riding your bike.

You would do more for the environment getting rid of a scooter with a 2-stroke engine and getting a four stroke. Two strokes are notoriously dirty engines (something like 15X more emissions if I recall correctly). Here you need a special permit to get a two stroke (landscape companies mostly for lawn equipment). You are getting great mileage, but if you are doing it to be green it is doing more harm than good.
