How much do one of those scooter's cost? I know I can't get it or free because I'm only 15. How fast do the scooters go? Does it run on gas or battery? In Bradenton, FL? Hey Al.... I be in Daytona. Scooters are a total waste of money....!!!! They do not go fast enough to keep from being run over. They are expensive and not worth the money. Cause as soon as you get the MC license --- that bike will be junk... You will want something bigger and more fashionable. A beginner bike should be atleast a 600cc.. I have a 95 Honda Shadow 600cc with a 4 speed.and 80,000 miles//50 miles to the gallon. . Used bikes are OK to buy. I love it it is great around town.50-55 mph .. The newer Shadows have a 5 speed and you will be more comfortable on long distance or getting a little speed. My girlfriend has a Yamaha 650 with a 5 speed and she loves it. Have no trouble on a trip going 70 mph. I also have a Suzuki 1400cc, 4 speed. to travel to work. Crank it up to 70 and the bike loves the speed. Absolutely no labor pains.

Everything from the Vespa store on us 301 in sarasota ot Mr. Moped near the airport. I've been driving one around for 2 yrs now. In our area you need to kinda plan where you go as the other guy mentioned, they don't go all that fast. The 50cc's usually top out around 40-45 mph and the 150cc's top out around 65-70.
Most of them are gas powered and my 50cc gets about 85mpg. There are some electric ones available, but are much pricier. They range in price new from 1500 to 5000 dollars and generally, you get what you pay for. |
