Three questions:
1. What was the last price you paid for gas that was comfortable to pay for, in that, you didn't budget and usually paid cash?
2. At what price did the gas purchases not only have to be budgeted, but you needed to put your purchases on credit?
3. What price of gas will it take to put a serious crunch on your budget, in that, you would be forced to carpool, single trips to the grocery, invest in a motorcycle, sell your SUV, take a taxi/bus/train, cut back on traveling by auto?
My situation:
1. $1 dollar
2. $2 dollars
3. NOW. I'm looking into purchasing a scooter.
Now, how about you???
052507 9:30 Millie - great alternative - riding your horse to work! My horse passed away, but I'd sure love it if they'd build some stalls here (I work on a college campus), and I'd ride in to work in STYLE! LOL 1) when I could fill my truck up for $12 so about $1 a gallon
2) $2.50
3) Now! I am looking at riding my horse more. but seriously around $4 For me:
1. $1.25
2. Over two dollars
3. $5.00.
I work really far form my house and the public transportation system sucks where I live. One of my co-workers lives pretty close to me, so I may ask to car-pool with him. But there are days when he does not go straight to the office, so it would be hard some days. Otherwise, I'm not sure what other changes I could make. 1) $3.69
2) Hasn't happened yet
3) I already have a motorcycle but it's for fun - not gas savings :) 1. 1 dollar
2. 2.50
3. right now, everyone is looking for a cheaper ride. 1. $1.19 ( i like $.89 much better)
2. $2.99 (i had to start adding gas as a budget line item and I started decreasing trips)
3. $4.00 (i guess I better come up with a plan huh?) 1)Well, I can remember paying 19 cents a gallon in the mid to late 60's....
2)I pay cash for all my gas.....Some people that put it on credit will end up in trouble.
3)The cost of gas has been out of controll for years, & it's our lawmakers fault....Stand up,& tell them to do something about it.....It's time we stop listening to their lies, & excuses..... |
