I'm thinking of getting a Vespa scooter which one should i buy?

Are electirc or gas any better? I know Honda, Vespa and other brands are out there. What are some pros and cons of owning one, what are your experiences?

Do some research. Go out to the shops and kick some tires and ask questions. Get on the Internet and join a Vespa Scooter group and talk to the other members. Gain knowledge and then you make an educated decision. If you have friends that have scooters see if they will let you take them for a ride to get an idea what kind of power they have. You might even find a shop that will let you take a demo for a ride. Check it out! Good Luck

If you need to keep up with freeway traffic, a 250cc or larger would be more suitable.

Even though gas is going up, I would still recommend a Gas powered Scooters. Unless you are a kid of course. Gas powered Scooters are a lot more responsive than that of Electric Scooters. And, you would get up to 80 to 100 miles per gallon. For short distance, inner city travel, thats pretty good. Of course, if I were you, I would go into a shop and see if you could test drive one of each.
