I have a '84 Honda Aero (NH125). When it ran last year it did fine at low RPM, but the more gas you gave it the more it lost power, and with the throttle full open it stalled. This year it starts and barely idles but if you give it any gas it stalls. I've thoroughly cleaned the carb and everything else checks out (fuel pump, filter, air filter, battery, spark, compression), so I expect it's the automatic choke. Apparently they wear out and there's no replacement.
Is there a modern carb I can use to replace it with? Or is there a work around for the automatic choke?
I'd love to get this old baby running.
