Are you doing anything different now that gas prices are climbing?

I bought myself a scooter to do errands in the neighborhood. Only cutting the yard every other week. Avoiding any long trips out of town. Anyone have any more suggestions?

Yes I sure am, I try to do all my errands and stuff on the way.. It sucks.. But try not to go anywhere on the weekends. Save gas as much as I can.

vote against people stopping the building of new refineries and oil drilling

carpool, avoid driving to short distances, get yourself a nice road-bike and ride to work (if it's close), follow speed limits

yes, i don't just jump in the car and run here or go there, we stay at home, go to work, grocery store etc, and thats it..

As the price of gas is very volatile I'm dollar cost averaging my purchases. In other words, I buy half a tank regardless of the price.

Nope but I should be my car takes 37bucks to fill up now..it used to take 25!

You mean besides not getting to go far on vacation? And riding our bicycles around? Not really. Now we have to work overtime to pay the bills and make sure we have gas money to get to work and school. It's a vicious cycle.
