I am planning a trip to Sausalito in a few days... does anyone know if Gas Powered Motorized Scooters are allowed in the Golden Gate National Recreation Area.
If so, does anyone know where I can rent a scooter in Sausalito?... What about does anyone know where I can rent a Tandem Bike in Sausalito? Although there's no state law against using them on streets (riders must be at least 16 years old and wear helmets), the National Park Service does not allow motorized scooters on any of its off-road trails. Non-motorized bikes should pose no problem.
