How do i "shock" start a Honda Helix?

I put a new carb on my scooter, where do I add the gas to the carb in order to get it running?

Take off the air cleaner connector at the carburetor. That is the bore or throat of the carb. Use a small syringe and squirt some gas into the throat to get it to start.
