I've wanted a vespa scooter for years and years (almost 10 to be exact) and I want one for a number of reasons: Low gas usage, low emmisions (vs a car), easy to park/get around in, less maitanence than a car, cost, and obviously looks...
my concern is that I want to use it as my main source of transportation, and in florida during some seasons it does rain a lot...is it safe to drive during the rain? I still will keep my pos car so if it was real bad I could drive that but it is horrible on gas (and I care about environment a lot)
also are there any additional safty concerns I should be aware of?

Btw i'm looking at like GT200 (i believe it ios) I can't personally tell you about a vespa scooter, but if your riding a bike in the rain the best thing to do is stay near the sides of your lane cuz the oils on the road get real slippery when they are wet. If you plan to ride in the rain, just remember to take it slow, basically the same as you supposed to do when your in your car. |
