We flew from Page to Grand Canyon today. I just realized something, how do you get around after you land? |
We just landed then flew back home on this joy ride. I got to thinking, yeah, it is convenient to fly to a place but how to get around after you are there. There are no cabs or rent-a-cars at this airport. There is a bus shuttle just to the rim. Perhaps stowing a folding bicycle? I am sure in most places it is rentals, cabs, and shuttles. Just wanted to know if there are other options I have missed? a lot fbos fix base operator have a car they be glad to loan you if you by your fuel too.. Look down.. See those two things at the ends of your legs?.. Belive it or not, in the ancient days, people used their feet to get from point a to point b. i think you just hike around it.......idk brit <3 You can also ride a horse Like you said, a bike, or the shoe leather express. Taxi or rent-a-car. There are those little folding bikes, you're right. I've never had one, but it might be fun in the right circumstances. Well, your at the Grand Canyon? Take the bus to the rim, then use the ol feet! Wish I were there! I thought about a bike a few times but generally the places I go have cabs, rentals, or loaners! I might have to try the Canyon - wonder if a small Harley will fit in the back of a Twin Comanche? -- nope, guess I better get a bigger plane :) |
