I have a Bridgestone Transit folding bike that needs a new tire. It requires an 18"x1.5" size and I can't find it anywhere. Can you help me?
Is your tire bad or your tube? Try your local bike shop or the bridgestone website I think they have a different site for bike tires I hope this helps.
Good luck with that if you live in Canada...the 18" tire was created back in the 90s to avoid a tarrif that the Canadian government put on all bike tires made in the US and imported into Canada....the only flaw in the tarrif was that it was too exact and the tire sizes were specified. The bike tire maufacturers created a new size (the 18 inch) for only one year before it too was added to the tarrif, so they stopped making them completly.
