What's the best form of whole body exercise? Walking, swimming, or jogging.? |
Besides using machines like, treadmills and exercise bikes. swimming. When I was on the swim team I was ripped. But during that time the coach also had us in the weight room. For a workout we would do both sprints and long distance- all timed. The faster you got done with a set the more rest you got before the next set. The only downside of being on the swimming team was the itsybity teenyweeny suits they had us wear. I had a tiny hole that wasn't noticeable unless you knew about it in the back of my suit but when I bent over the blocks it stretched into a very noticeable hole. swimming , no doubt swimming. id do a little of all though. but if you really want to exercise the whole body, focus mainly on swimming. it uses almost every muscle walking with 5lb of hand weights and tighten your buttocks when you walk.. swimming gives you that long lean look, weights to be toned.....plus a very healthy diet....... i like weight 3x week for toning..... swimming! Actually medically speaking it is rather surprising. They say walking. Now that is not a casual walk through the park...the is walking at a pace that you can't carry on a conversation comfortably. If you use your arms, and as you build stamina, weights in your hands, this works out every part of your body very effectively. Changing it up with other exercises though can make it much more enjoyable. Swimming is the best whole body exercise. I am on low carb, low fat, high fibre, high protein and a hour brisk walk 5 times a week, and I have lost 31lbs/14kg and gained better health. I am now maintaining my 108lbs/49kg for more than a year, with more fruits and complex carbs. Details such as my experience, meals, snacks, recipes, foods to buy, reading labels, walking as an exercise and to shape the body etc etc, are in my blog. Xiaozhen |
