What exercise should I do? |
I have been working out for about 40 days and have dropped 9 lbs. I basically ride my bike. and do brisk walking. I also do some weight training and stretching . I watch what I eat as well. I was happy to see my pants were a bit loose but my upper body ( arms, back and midsection ) seems to remain the same. People say when you do cardio you lose the fat all over the body but it is not so in my case. What exercise should I do so I can tone up my upper body? you should try something like taebo or kick boxing, I don martial arts and I find that the very good for over all my upper body is in excellent condition as well as my lower body and it help to keep me in shape plus I learn something at the same time and I know how to defend my self. I do Tae kwon do, Hapkido and Haidong Gumdo if you are interested in it just for weight loss I recommend that you start out with Taekwondon but kick boxing would be just as good. Have you seen Madonna's arms? Do you belong to a gym? You could also ask your gym for a personal training session. Those are always very helpful because you tell them exactly what you want to do for your body, and they will give you routines that will help you reach your goals. Also, your best bet if you're looking to just tone your arms is to lift weights. Are you male or female? If you're male, drinking a protein shake will help you bulk your muscles up. However, if you're a woman, you probably want to stay slim, but have tone and definition. Use hand weights with a one, two or three pound weight.
