Is this a good exercise plan? |
My mom keeps telling me to loose weight and that I should exercise more. I am not fat by any means, but my mom thinks I am so I have decided to exercise more for my health and to tone up a bit and make my mom happy. I'm just wondering, is this a good exercise plan that I will do every day this summer? 10 minutes non stop running in the morning (sometimes) 30 minutes hoola hooping 1 hour bike riding, flat land, some hills 30 minutes rollerblading (sometimes) 9 hours swimming (only this saturday and next) - Intense swim practice I have been doing this everyday for the past week and a half and plan to do it for the rest of the summer. Is this a good plan and will it help me loose weight and tone up? It's simple. Don't worry too much about a plan right now. You're still young. All you need to do is get out and be more active, and make sure you're eating plenty of fruits and vegetables. i think so That looks great! Especially the swim team practice. Swimming has been shown to be one of the most effective calorie burning workouts available. As long as you are eating healthy (and eating enough), I would have to imagine you'll be seeing serious results by the end of the summer. Good work! Perfect. Amazing. Have fun. Tell your mom to worry about her own weight and leave you alone. We don't need critics--we need support, love and encouragement. Enough of her nagging. The whole key is to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner, with some healthy snacking in between. Drink plenty of water and eat all the fruits and vegetables that you want. If mom is worried about it, have her buy some good, nutritious foods and get off your back. Good luck and great job. You've certainly got the cardio and calorie burning end of things covered with this plan, although if you want to tone up you will need to add some weight training at some point to tone up your upper body (nothing to major, maybe 2x per week with high reps low weight) Also, your mom might not want to focus on weight as an indicator of health, it can be very misleading. Instead determine your BMI (body mass index) and shoot to keep it in a healthy range. Weight can fluctuate for many reasons, and if you add muscle and lose fat it may not seem like you are losing "weight" but you may still be getting healthier. Either way, it can never hurt to be more in shape. yes it is for a girl like u and me only if ur inbetween the ages 4 - 11 if ur older than that u should do this 7:00 - run 3 miles 8:30- 100 crunches 100 push ups 100 juming jacks (weight lifing every day too if u want the results quicker) 9:45-special k cerel or hony bunches and oats (if u want yogurt,banna,5 straberries, orange) (choose only 1 of the extras) 10:30-bike ride till you pass out (it will take about 3 hours of biking) in between that eat 3 snacks) 1:30-anything most likely (games,tv,girly stuff) include yogurt, orange, garnlabar (lunch) oh yeah one cup of apple juice 2:30-200 crunches 200 push ups 200 jumping jacks 4:00-take a nice cold shower 5:00-eat garnola bar only 5:30-eat dinner meat, fish, salad, (choose 1 plus juice) 6:00-lay down and watch tv and slowly fall a sleep e mail me if hve more questions |
