My housemate doesn't seem to respect my privacy? |
Well..thats not exactly true. You see, my housemate is one of my closest friends and i love living with her. She gives me plenty of space etc and i can trust her. We often hang out in my room together to watch tv or dvds (as im the only one with a dvd player) and thats fine. But lately i've been coming home unexpectely for lunch etc, when usually i let her know im coming home, and ive found her in my room watching tv and dvds and riding my exercise bike. I've closed the door but obviously that doesnt stop her. Its harmless, but i dont feel respected, when im there its no probs at all but on the weekend when i was away i know she was in there and its just a funny feeling, i feel invaded and like i cant escape! she had a dvd player on her lap top so theres really no excuse, and the exercise bike is a loan and if it gets broken, i'll be to blame. what do u suggest? Just be straight up with her. tell her that you dont think that she'd do anything to your stuff on purpose, but you dont like people being in your room when you're not around. Or you should request that she ask to use your stuff beforehand. Would it be ok if she called you or sent you a txt message and asked if she could watch a dvd in your room? ******* jus tell her not to use your things or go to your room when ur not around its no biggie tell her Tell her it bugs you when she uses your stuff when you are not there. your being petty.how do you break an exercise bike?
