What's the best workout routine for me? |
I want to be fit for summer. All the exercise I will be doing will be indoors because its winter & its dark by the time I get home from work. I am about to buy an exercise bike. I am 5ft, approx 43kg. I have a very slim tummy/torso but I have slightly chubby thighs, a jiggly butt, small love-handles. How often & for how long should I work out? What kinds of exercises should I do? I want to slim down around the butt/thigh area & I want to build a bit of muscle on my tummy area. Good answers only please, I don't want no crap answers. Dancing burns so many cals, yoga afterwards, and green tea and water...I dance when nobody is home and Im, beat after 30 min sweating! As far as weight loss goes, it depends on your current level of conditioning. If you are very fat, simply walking could help you take weight off. But, to get that stubborn last 10 pounds HIIT is a good plan. Basically, HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) is where you sprint for a bit then rest for a bit - on any machine and for whatever time scheme you want. Usually it's only done for about 15-20 mins bc it is so tiring. But, this type of cardio keeps your metabolism up for the rest of the day. Also, weight training is good. The more muscle mass you have the higher metabolism you have. Muscles gobble up calories constantly like no diet pill or cardio ever could.
