Loosing weight is taking FOREVER!!!?

I work out 4-5 times a week
I do about 10-20 miles on a exercise bike a day (or 1-1.5 hours, which ever comes first)
I also do some weights, stretches & such for 15-45mins
So, I work out for a total of 2-2.5 hours a day

My calorie intake is 2500 or less per day (FOR SURE...I count calories)

I've been doing this for about 4-5 months I lost 15 lbs pretty fast..but now I am stuck at 183 - I'm 5'8" - Any suggestions?

Should I take up the exercising a notch? It already takes up so much of my time though...

Yes, losing weight takes for-fricken-ever.

And the closer you get to your ideal weight, the slower it goes.

Stalls are normal.

However, the good news is that the slower it comes offf, the more likely it is to stay off.

Don't forget that as you lose weight you can't eat as much as you did when you were heavier and still lose.

And don't forget to measure yourself. It's quite possible that you're still losing fat but gaining muscle, so you could be shrinking while remaining at the same weight. I had that happen over the winter, for four months I didn't lose a pound but people kept commenting on how much I was losing.

Perhaps instead of increasing your exercise routine you simply need to shake it up. When we do the same thing all the time, the body becomes more efficient at doing it, which means it works less and burns less calories. Try different exercises/heavier weights/changing your number of reps and sets.
If you are trying to lose weight, I would first look into your diet. Make sure you are eating the right foods and spacing your meals to get 4-6 meals per day. It sounds like you do a lot of exercise, and that is good, but diet is the real key to weight loss.
Eventually, your body will hit a plateau. You will have to either lower your calories, or step up your exercising. You lose weight quickly at first due to water weight, and then after that it should be much more stable and slow. Make sure you are eating the right things, too. Calories aren't the only thing to worry about. Watch your fats, sugars and carbs, make sure you get enough protein and fiber. Also, make sure that mentally you're checking in with your body. If you're stressed about it, you won't lose as much. If you're lifting weights and doing a lot of miles on the bike, then you're definitely building muscle mass as well... and because muscle weighs more than fat, your scale isn't going to show you much. Pay attention to how your clothes are fitting, and how your body is feeling... those are better indicators of your health.
CUT OUT SUGAR AND JUNK FOOD, WATCH YOUR SODIUM INTAKE ALSO.

I take slim fast in the morning with fruit in yogart or sometimes with a kashi brand cereal that has 13g of protein. then at lunch its slim fast with chicken breast, veggies, egg whites and spinach. for snack i have carrot sticks, fruit, or a heatlhy choice ice cream bar, dinner veggies, fish/poultry, potatoes.

I stuck to this unusual diet for a month and lost 15lbs. I didnt starve myself, I ate fruits, veggies, trail mix as a snack if i was hungry in between meals, and I hardly exercised (but is recommended). I also take Acai berry pills which you can pick up at vitamin world. Its a VERY VERY powerful antioxidant, boosts energy and immune system, and really promotes healthy skin. Along with all that I drink green tea and or chinese Oolong tea which was proven by the FDA that it will help you lose weight 110% faster than any other "diet" out there
I would strongly recommend your diet now.. Sounds like your doing great with your excercise.. now look at what is going in.. and what you are having to burn off..
Look into protein shakes, and fresh veggies and fruits.. Fruits help release toxins in the body.. there fore you would lose inches and possibly weight ..
Drink more water to help push toxins thru.. this is another idea.. Good Luck with this. your doing great otherwise..
Try exercising 6 days a week and cutting calories to 1800-2000 per day. The more weight you lose the harder it will get to lose a pound. Really really obese people can sometimes lose 25 pounds in a week. For you that would probably be deadly. Stick with it and make your workout/diet routein a perminant part of your life. Track your weight daily on a spreadsheet or log so you can vee your results. You will get there, don't give up.

By the way: 3500 calories = one pound of fat, so with diet and exercise you are looking at around 2 -3 pounds a week. Its not easy.
Check on your fluid intake. There are a lot of hidden calories in sodas, whole milk, and fruit juice. Also, there are calories in any sweetener you put in tea or coffee. If you have not done so, switch to a sugar free soft drink, skim milk, and plain water.

Another aspect of exercise is muscle mass. You may have lost fat, but gained lean muscle (especially on your legs). One hour of aerobic activity should raise your metabolism. Rather than riding a longer distance, consider riding at a faster pace.
