Why aren't I losing weight? |
I'm 16 years of age, 173cms, and I weigh 70kgs. I'm on Aripiprazole and Fluoxetine tablets. For two weeks, I have carefully watched my diet, exercised on my exercise bike - I burn anywhere between 200 and 400 calories a day - and I haven't lost a single pound. I recently discovered that the Amulsulpride I was on had a weight gain side effect, so I've stopped taking it. I also know that Aripiprazole has a very, very rare - less than 1 in 10'000 people have it - weight gain side effect. I weighed myself yesterday - eleven stone exactly. I just weighed myself now - 11 stone 5. What the hell is going on with my weight and how do I slim down to 64kgs? Also, I am a severe haemophiliac and can't do most sports. you are not losing wait because you are gaining muscles You're probably gaining alot of muscle also. watch your carbohydrate intake - fake sugar can have the same effect as real sugar - starches are carbs to. i don't know what the meds are doing to you - i am not familiar with them - but many meds add weight - if their is a stimulate weight loss med - it will had tummy fat - cause it induces stress - stress adds tummy fat for survival. if you are having trouble losing weight don't even eat a small amount of junk food - it will turn to fat and it isn't good for you - i know that can sound unfair - but junk food is just that junk. First off, don't weigh yourself every day. It's normal to have weight variations of 1-3 pounds per day due to different times of the day, hydration levels, and such. Pick a time, say when you first get up, and weigh yourself only 1 time per week. It'll give you a better overall picture of what your weight is doing. Second, the secret to weight loss is to burn more calories then you consume. Saying you eat carefully isn't enough - you need to track your caloric intake and burn more then you are eating. Hey good decide to stop it... maybe you should try something different... maybe http://hoodiagordoniireview.org/... I think you did what you can... Hi to loose one pound a week you need to either decrease your intake by 500kcal a day or burn 500kcal a day more wich is quite difficult seeing that that would mean more that an hour of cycling every day |
