How many sit-ups and push-ups should i do a day to keep healthy?



i do 10 push-ups and 20 sit-ups as well as half an hour on the exercise bike? how am i going? is tis enough exercise for one day? i'm starting to eat less because i need to lose weight. lots of weight

Assuming your are a man . . .

10 is not a lot of push ups . . . 20 sit up is nothing. I don't want to tell you what I do. I am over 50 years old, but I do, at least, 200+ crunches at day. 200 is my easy day.

Women can do a lot more sit ups. I don't know why, but women used to pump them out when I tested them in the army. I would look for something else than sit-up. Normal situps is tough on your tail bone . . . Crunches is better.

Have hour on an exercise bike is okay. I would work towards a 60% heart beat rate for your age group.
at least 1,000,000,000,000. thats my personal daily routine.
It's a great start. You can add more later.
the best way is not to force things. Get it slowly done and you will have mere effect
