Can a single guy and a married woman be friends without it turning sexual? |
We do a lot of things together, like exercise, run, bike, and swim. Occasionally we each lunch together. If you find out, be sure to let me know. My understanding would normally be yes. but it really depends on the strength of the marriage and the trust and understanding in the friendship. If both are looking for nothing more than a tried and true friendship, then it's fine- no worries. But if either of them have even the slightest thought that the relationship's dynamic may change and that they may have a chance at something more... things are most likely to take a turn for the worse. Just remember that if she ends up cheating on her husband with you she will probably end up doing it to you too. Absolutely! I have many male friends, and I am VERY married!! It comes from trust, honesty, and openness in the married relationship. Jealously will not allow friendships with the opposite sex outside the marriage. Jealousy is an illness that requires counseling. |
