How can i lose 50 pounds in 4 months for cheerleading? |
i am currently 190 and my high school cheer coach said you have to lose 50 pounds to be on the cheer squad this year i need a diet...uhm i have an exercise ball and a bike at home i love jump ropeing but i can't go to the gym so i need a good diet that will help me lose my wieght without any pills because i am 15 i can't use them so anyone i am asking you please help my doctor didn't act worried about it so i need help fast 50 pounds in 4 months sounds like a doable target though a little difficult. But before anything, please ignore the "binge and purge" kind of advices. They are totally nonsense and will do u more harm than good. Also at ur age taking pills etc is also a very bad idea. Just try to lose weight the natural way ie by diet and exercise.First of all find out ur daily calorie needs by using some kind of calorie calculator(they r easily available for free on net). Then try to create a calorie deficit of arnd 700-800 per day through a combination of diet and exercise.Like maybe u cld eat 300 calories less and work out for another 500. As far as diet goes, there are lot of low fat,low calorie options available like fruits, veggies, low fat cheese, corn, whole wheat bread, egg whites, skim milk etc.I am a vegetarian so dunno much abt non-veg options but i m sure there r loads.Just find out from net abt the calorie content of each food item.Basic rule is to eliminate everythign that is oily or sweet.Totally eliminate cookes,cake,candies,pizza,fren... fries, soda etc.Don't starve urself but eat something healthy everytime u feel hungry.Drink lot of water/green tea/unsweetened orange juice etc. Early in the morning everyday drink a glass of warm water with lemon juice and a small spoon of honey.I heard that it will improve ur digestion n help u lose weight. Its somewhat similar to the pills but only it is far healthier and harmless. As far as exercise goes, work out for 1 hour everyday. You dont have to work out continuosly. You can like make it half an hour in the morning and half in the evening. There are lot of things you can do witout going to gym.Jump roping is one of the best exercises. You can also workout with the bike and ball you have. You could also go for a jog, walk,do spot jogging, weight lifting(fill 2 plastic bottles with sand if you dont have weights),play some game with kids around your block etc.Take the stairs instead of elevators and walk to school if possible. Kepp all the advices you like in front of you and make a plan which suits u best and stick to it for 4 months.I am sure you will not only make it to the squad but be damn good at it.In the process u will also look gorgeous and improve ur health.Good luck. Binge and purge, babe, binge and purge. try to excersise That should be easy in 4 months. Just exercise more, eat right like cut back fats and only eat when hungry, green tea, etc Anyways...first please dont binge or purge or anything of that sort...it will not help you in anyway shape or form...(trust me i tried). First get healthy eating. Eat a well balanced breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Skipping a meal is not a good thing to do, instead eat something light and healthy. Cut out fatty foods. You know its bad for you the second you see it, so dont have it. Eat alot of fruit and vegetables, eat whole wheat bread when you have the option, eat in moderation and smaller portions, cut out sodas and coffees and anything with high sugar. Pay attention to those labels. If its high in salt, calories, and sugar; you shouldnt be eating it. Also chewing longer and eating slower will help you feel fuller. Try to excercise often, try going to your local pool and swim laps, pull your bike out and ride around the neighborhood, run/jog. Work on cardio and tone your belly muscles by doing crunches and sit ups. Keep at it and you should be fine...goodluck You need to calculate the amount of calories your body uses naturally by going here http://www.caloriesperhour.com/... and then calculate how many calories you eat. Eat fewer calories than your body uses and that's how you lose weight. Also, don't forget to exercise. Go for a jog, or jump rope, but never give up! Keep your strength and you can do it! Good luck! First of all it is prejudice for your coach to tell you that you have to lose weight to be on the squad. This is high school, not the NFL Cheerleaders. Second, stay away from all sugars. Read your labels, things that say sucrose, dextrose, corn syrup, etc. in the first 5 ingredients are ones to stay away from. Eat fruits and veggies, and lean protein (chicken, fish, etc.) not fried. Third, start out with walking 30 minutes a day. Increase your speed over time (2 weeks) and then start a slow jog/ walk. work up to running for 30 minutes a day (doesn't have to be fast). You should be able to do this in 6 weeks, longer if you need to. Do this for you, not your coach. Last, get 5 pound weights and do arm curls, over your head, triceps, etc. Do 10...3 times. Muscle burns fat even when you are just sitting. Hope this helps. |
