Help gaining weight!? |
i am 5'9, 101 pounds and 13 years old. i have recently gone from 115 pounds down to 101 pounds and i really need to rebuild my muscle for cross country season by gaining like 15 pounds. i am eating around 3300-3400 calories a day and i think i am gaining. should i keep eating this much or should i go less to be safe. also when i am finished gaining how can i safly eat a normal amount of calories and not loose to much my deducting calories? i dont get to much exercise everyday i just bike around a little or jump on a trampoline or go in the pool If you keep eating that many calories a day without much exercise, you could get fat. My suggestion is to keep eating that much per day in addition to going to a gym to run and lift weights so all those calories are converted to muscle. Once you are at the weight you want, cut down to around 2000 calories a day, that's about normal its fine you are still young You're really too young to be stressing out about your weight. 3300-3400 calories is way too much for anyone. Just add a healthy milkshake to your daily diet and things should be fine. Good luck with the cross country team! |
