What can i do to lose the fat in my upper inner thigh (ok...by my crotch..)? |
i've tried bike riding and other exercise but it still won't go away..HELP!! Well, mainly you have to do a lot of cardio to lose fat. (At least that's what the trainers say, but I always have trouble with certain spots too.) The inner thigh is a hard area to work, but a couple things I've found that work are Pilates and a balance ball. Make sure it's the actual Winsor Pilates, the advanced is best--you can get the DVD at Target, Wal-Mart, etc. Other than Pilates, the best targeted exercise I've found so far is to lay flat on your back, hold a balance ball in between your ankle/calf area, and then raising your legs up and down. You can really feel it working the inner thigh area. swimming breaststroke is a great way to tone up the thighs You probably won't like this answer - but you can't 'target' weight loss to specific areas. You can build the muscle up in an area, but you have to work at decreasing overall body fat percentage to loose fat. It's kind of like doing 100's of ab exercises to have a 6 pack - but until the layer of fat (or 2) COVERING your abs is gone - you won't get that 6 pack. |
