Am I anorexic? |
I've lost 116 pounds in one year. From 255 to 139 today. From a size 22 to a 5/6 today. I eat once a day and drink a lot of coffee and energy drinks. if I get hungry (rarely) I will eat a granola bar and an energy drink. Problem is, I do NOT see myself skinny. My friends say i look like a cadaver, but I just don't see it. I can't seem to stop exercising- i walk/run/bike nearly 10 miles a day- every day. How do i get out of this mess? you seem to have a combination of things besides anorexia you also exercise too much for the amount of food you put into your body. i would say just force yourself to eat a healthy meal 3 times a day. it only takes 20-30 min to eat a full meal so just try it. heres some advice for picking healthy foods: 1-Eat a BALANCED diet...ask yourself if you got protein, fats, and carbs in each meal. 2-Fats are good...make sure your fats are from natural sources...as in; try lots of nuts and peanut butter is really good for you. Its weird but in order to burn fat you have to have fat....kinda like "in order to make money you have to spend it" ****Greasy or fats from processed foods are very bad**** 3-Sugars can be very bad...(high-glycemic) sugars actually slow down the process of burning fat....you find them in processed food like soda, white bread, twinkies, etc. 4-The most important meal of the day is a small meal after you work out. If you dont eat a balanced meal (try some kind of protein bar) after you work out your body will end up burning muscle and organs instead of fat. You find high-glycemic sugar in PROCESSED food like candy, snack, etc. 5-NO PROCESSED FOODS...that means no white bread, twinkies, sodas there's a lot more but those are the basics and try to take 9,000-11,000mg of vitamin C per day. its basically the best vitamin out there plus us humans cant make it on our own. and take a multivitamin. BUT dont go on a crash diet...everything i just said above works. It will take a month of two to notice a difference but when you do you will be happy. Plus, it gives you the flexablity to be lenient with what you eat as long as it is BALANCED. think PCF(protein, carbs, fats) You do have an eating disorder there is a thing called exercise Bulimia. you exercise food off rather than vomit. you need to seek professional help , eating disorders are a disease of the mind. If you don't get it under control you can cause permanent, liver kidney and heart damage only to name a few and even death Yes you are. And I had the same problem. The only way to cure it is to want to. I am doing it without any help or therapy and I am doing VERY well. The key is to admit you have a problem and be strong enough to do it on your own. Ask yourself do you want to be this way for the rest of your live? At this rate it wont be but a couple more years. yes u have a problem hunny just relax a little and eat about six small meals a day of fruits or veggies or yogurt id get off the energy drinks, those arent good for you neither is the caffine id switch to diet drinks, not sodas, but like juices and id lay off the exercise too like idno, maybe just 5 miles every other day or two days hope this helps and 116 in one year...please, give you body a break try not to drink coffee too much and lay off those dumb energy drinks there only good for giveing energy when needed you need natraul energy thta comes from food and please for god sakes eat more than one meal a day eat three and maybe a liitle snack like chips once awhile stop with that coffee all those dumb coffees and energy drinks do is give you burst of energy for short periods of time.and then after thta your too tired to do anything so ya.eat more than one meal a day at least 2 please like not just a sandwich but like meat with green beans salad and other healthy food and dont drink those energy drinks too much too soon those just kill your body if you take too many of course your not...to be anorexic...you have to be under the weight that is set at your age...like doctors say 12 year olds weight depending on their age wich is 12 they should be at least 95-110 pound if your like a 70 pound 12 year then your considered anorexic...and for an adult being 139 pounds is really a great size but you should ask a dr. about your weight just to make sure..im 13 and i asked my mom who used to work as a r.n. and she said for you your weight is perfect ..not too bad either she said any girl would wish to be your size in jeans but im like 120 lbs...and wear a size 5/6(i cud sqeeze) 7 or an 8 so honestly dont worry ...your perfectly healthy!!! |
