Need to lose weight. Please HELP?

How many pounds can I lose if I do the following:

eat just 3,000 calories a day
do 2 hours of Hatha Yoga a week

I HATE aerobic exercise, such as walking, biking, swimming, running, and aerobic classes. I also HATE weight lifting. I won't do either, but am willing to try Yoga. Please help me. I would like to lose 5 pounds a week, if possible.

What I've been told is that you need to burn 3700 calories to loose 1lbs. I lost 115lbs just by cutting my fat intake to 23 grams of fat a day and then worked out everyday from 20-60 minutes. Both weight lifting and cardio. Now since you aren't a fan of either then just reducing the fat intake will help. I'm not a nutritionist or doctor...I'm just saying what worked for me. I only reduced the fat intake, not calories or sugars or carbs to start. I found that I didn't hate my diet so much if I just limited one thing at a time. Then after my body was used to eating less fat, I'd cut back on sugar, then carb and so forth till I was eating an all around sensible diet. Something I could live with for well over a year and loose 1/2 my body weight and still be happy. I did not like exercising to begin with but after a while it became addictive. I even ran a 7 mile race!!! Something I never thought I'd do! So best of luck and remember that every body is different so you just need to try and find what works best for you!
JUST TRY THE SACRED HEART MEDiCAL DiET
Hate to brake it to ya, but your probably not going to loose any weight babe. Only 2 hours of yoga? Yoga isn't even that physical and fat burning.....and 3,000 calories a day is pretty high...You shoud diet with low choleterol, healthy foods and a little snack.......Get in ti-bo and take some fat burners....jog !
3000 calories a day is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too much food to eat especially if your trying to lose 5 pounds a week, which won't happen anyways. You need to figure out your bmr (google "bmr calculator") and then eat less than that which shouldn't go below 1400 calories. Also your gonna have to do some kind of cardio to burn off extra calories. I guess you don't have to weight lift but building muscle gives you a leaner look plus with muscle your body will burn off more calories through out the day.
I lost 45 pounds after the birth of my son. I hate exercising or getting sweaty, for that matter. What I did was: eat whatever I want, but just eat MUCH smaller amounts. You would be so surprised about how much difference two or three extra cookies or an extra pat of butter makes.

3K calories is a lot. Not sure how tall you are, but if you're a woman you should probably stick with less than 2500 calories-- less than 2,000 if you're trying to lose weight. Just eat less--once your stomach adjusts, it isn't that hard.
None.

And adult male should eat LESS than 3,000 cals a day accompanied by exercise to maintain weight/lose a pound or two.

If you want to lose weight and you hate exercise then you have to diet like crazy. As a female you are going to have to eat less than 2,000 a day and closer to 1,500. Plus you are going to want those 1,500 cals to come from Protein and Fat. Since you don't work out that much Carbs
and Sugars will be stored as fat since you are not burning. Plus the older you get the harder it will be to maintain without exercising.

Get up and sweat girlie.
Eat a healthy diet and workout doing what you enjoy. 3000 calories is too many calories for loosing weight. Contrate on eating right, everything in moderation. Permanent weight loss is having the right mind set! Do it for you and your health. If I can loose the weight so can you! Best Wishes and Happy Weight Loss!
