I have a question...? |
I am fed up with my weight. I need to lose about 25 pounds, but nothing seems to work for me! I have tried all sorts of diets and I don't eat that much. I exercise about 5 times a week (bike riding, walking, etc.), but nothing is working!! I do not have a gym near me, so that doesn't help, plus I am low on $. Any ideas?? if you're serious there are a couple of ways that are easy, but take some effort on your part. the best one, and all of the good diet programs make you do this, is: carry a small notebook with you at all times. every thing you put in your mouth, eggs, big mac, candy, cough drop, pickle, everything all day long, you write down what, how much, and what time of day. Keep this log for 7 to 10 days. Now that you know what you eat, and when, make a graph. days across the top, times along the side. Write the food you ate down on your graph. As soon as you're finished you will immediately see where your issues are. ie, candy bar at 10AM, potato chips at 11AM, etc. the other thing it does is it makes you think about what you're eating, because you're writing it down. you'll ask yourself, do I want this? do I need this? or am I bored and this is how I cure boredom. The old saying, if no one sees you eat it, it doesn't have any calories really sticks in our mind. It works, all you have to do is do it. I think you'll be surprised at how much you really DO eat, even though you're sure you don't. good luck. this is probably what u don't want to hear, but maybe your current weight is what is healthy for your body... exercise, and more excerise, you can walk/run right outside, dont need a gym for that m maybe you don't NEED to lose weight. don't pay any attention to the media. back in the day it was "sexy" to be a larger woman. now it's like, if you're not 100 pounds or less then you're fat. the reason you're not losing weight is cuz you have no excess weight to lose!! Ok I love fit. One Stop with the Diet pills. Cause your hurting your metabalism rate when you do that. And once you go off a diet pill your metabalism isnt produce as much of its hormone like it once has. Since the pills put that hormone subsitute in you your metabalism is thinking that it doesnt have to work as hard anymore. Ok Now think how long you work out. For a good cardio work out you need to at least work out 30 mins. So do either a long long walk or a steady jog. Eventually do some running but no rush with it since if you feel nothing from the run or too tired from the run then you will eventually give up. SO take some time with that. With working out you are making you body feed off the energy in you lipid fats which makes them smaller which then shows that your losing weight. (your lipid fats are what get big -makes you fat- but exercise makes it small -skinnger-) Now you said you dont eat much thats not good either. Since if you hunger you need to eat or your acid in your stomach will harm your inside. You dont need much money to help lose weight. I had a little bit a weight problem and just dancing in my room in front of the mirror for 15 mins a day helped out and it was fun. I hope you accomplish you goal and its good that your trying. |
