Weight issues?



I need to shed about 15-20lbs.

I'd like to do crunches but I am very prone to migranes and the way you have to move your upper body/neck and head kills me.

Does anybody know of any other effective exercises that arent too strenuous. Does bike riding target stomach muslces at all?

Swimming----it's pretty mild on you body, but effective at weight loss
Go for aerobic exercises--they are much more effective than crunches. Once you loose the weight, then you can do resistance exercise, and build muscles.
Any cardio exercise will help you shed pounds. ave you tried a cleanse? I've been trying exercise only for about 4 months and I only dropped 7 lbs. If you are looking to tone your midesction the old fashioned standing side bend can help. Stand with your feet shoulder length apart, put your hands on your hips and bend at the waist forward like you are bowing, stand up and bend at each side and backwards. Keep the muscles in your abdomen pulled tight to protect your back. A hula hoop is also great excersize for your abs..belly dancing too
If crunches are hurting you then you probably aren't using proper form. You are probably lifting with your head and neck. Lay on your back, knees up, put your hands behind your head to support your head and neck but don't use them to lift your head, you should be able to see your elbows out of the corners of your eyes. when you come up press your lower back into the floor and keep the rest of your spine straight.
If you still have problems then pilaties have a lot of moves the work your whole core and don't put you into this position. Bike riding is good for burning calories and legs and butt
