I am having knee problems help please?

About a year ago I crashed on my bike going down a hill...I smashed my knee's into the ground...and my head...and of course my hands...ofter I got up I realised I had rocks embedded in my hands and very big bruises on my knees...and of course my head was bleeding...After a few weeks I was up and running again... I went to the doctor about 4 months ago and they just said I had pulled a tendon...but....the pain in my knees isn't constant. It will hurt for about a month..then stop for a few weeks.... I tried taking almost every pain killer on the shelf..and none of them work even a little bit...

and do you think my stunt biking is stopping them from healing right...i mean its exercise so shouldn't it help?

Anyone have any idea's of what is going on?
I could really use the help....

Stunt biking may be exercise, but probably not the kind your knee needs for rehabilitation. Talk to your doctor about your pain and the need for physical therapy. They will teach you the right kind of exercise to promote strength, healing, and pain relief.
your knee sounds like it has never healed properly from your fall, and you keep aggrevating it when you overdo your biking. Rest it and see the Dr again . He may have to scope your knee to see if you have torn something inside. AND FOR GOODNESS SAKES WEAR A HELMET. It may not be cool, but being dead or brain damaged isnt cool either
first of all is it swelling or what it hurt without you having a accident than you better go see Doctor, if its bruised and black put ice on on it, or just hurt put warn cloth on if nothing works go to the Dr. How old are you? Because if young do those thing I mention but if you are 50+ go To the Dr. As soon as you can it might Lead to more serious things., believe that one. So go back and get check and get pain pills those pill he will give yopu will help you till he finds what is going on because somthing is going on that is not right.
no
use 'Neosporin'
Find out what the problem is your self and fix it, read http://www.helium.com/tm/148271...
If you plan on continuing the stunt biking there is a lot of crashes in your future So figure out the repair mechanism or you will really suffer when you get old that starts around 30y
Hey.. Pulling a tendon and things like that sound simple but injuries like that can take a LONG time to heal. Drs always want us to exercise to help heal and strengthen the muscles etc. I would say that your injury didnt have time to heal properly. That Dr you went to 4 months ago should have done more for you than just tell you you had pulled a tendon. I would think most would send you for Physical Therapy, tell you to rest it at home and use cold or hot packs and prescribe you some pain and anti-inflammatory meds (stronger stuff than over the counter meds). Your stunt biking is exercise but... you will need some really mild stuff til healed before you do that again. Also, you know.. wear the proper protective gear-it really is dangerous. My son used to skate alot and would have massive bruises--it would freak me out! I would recommend as the first step---Go back to the doctor-an Orthopedist or one that specializes in Sports Medicine. You need your own one of those anyway for the type of recreation you have chosen.. Use some either hot or cold packs-whichever makes it feel better--for now.. That's all, sorry for being long winded--just wanted to help.... See a Dr, Take Care, and HAve FUN!!!
