I have been a rower for two years and I'm huge... I want to go back but as a lightweight rower... they weigh 130.... I weight 160... it's almost all muscle... I have a year to get to 130... I need help... I exercise 30 min every day... along with maybe riding my bike or a soccer game... whatever comes along... I know more reps and light weight but I have a year.... I did weight 185... so I'm not doing bad but I need help... what do I do?
ease up on your protein intake and start running...I mean lots of running. Long distance running eats up muscle tissue and fat. the quickest but unsafest way to go is to stop eating any protein...if your body intakes 0 grams protein per day it will be forced to use muscle protein inplace. for a safer alternative if you dont use the muscles in your back that are used for rowing you will lose their size because they will no longer be needed for work.
