How do you loose a fat belly? |
I am looking to loose some weight around my stomach but would like to know what is the best way to do it. I am constantly on my feet for 8 hours a day at work and do my best to eat healthily, eating at least 4/5 pieces of fruit and veg a day. I have been doing this for about a month now and have lost a small ammount of weight and body fat but I would like to do it quicker. Where I live it is very hard to get to places and there are not many things to do to exercise. I cannot get to places by walking or riding a bike because all of the roads are extremely dangerous. Any help would be great! Well, as fas as I know you cant loose weight for very long from a specific part of the body (you cn loose it for a very short time but then the body sort of adjusts and replaces the fat there and evens it all out - so you loose fat from all over evenly) So how to loose weight - eat less energy than you use. If you are eating healthily and loosing weight slowly then that sounds ideal - when you crash diet and loose weight too quckly then you start to have problems (including yo-yoing weight changes) so id keep with the slow weight loss (slow loss is a sustainable way to adjust your weight) If you need to loose it more quickly then keep a food diary of everything you eat and look at it at the end of the week and highlight where you think you are going wrong. For example - do you have a bag of crisps every morning? you will spot a pattern and can change it, for example bag of crisps into an apple? If you cant do that then consider the portion sizes you are eating - most people eat slightly larger portions than they need to Drink more water - sort of flushes the system and keeps it going Hard work to begin with but sit ups have got to be the best way to lose the weight on your belly and tighten up those muscles! Good luck!!! haha. sounds great so far :D but honestly i think it's great you're losing weight SLOWLY that means it is most likely you'll keep it off longer so gratsss (: well the only way to really loose the fat is to do cardio. aka: walking//running and other stuff. so i dont know how you can do that without being able to go out. you could try signing up for some classes like yoga/pilates/dance. and keep up with the good diet (: don't eat fried foods or drink carbonated drinks... the best to lose with is baked fish.... also don't salt your food, use pepper or lemon pepper instead.... eat fresh vegetables instead of canned... I wennt on this for 2 weeks and lost 20 lbs. it works.. the frozen or canned food have preservatives that help you gain weight also Sit-up, crunches, any "core" class at a gym. No easy solution- old-fashioned exercise is the only way. You should get a waist slimming/trimming belt and do stomach exercises such as crunches and sit-ups etc. with it on. Wearing it while doing other exercises will also work. [The belt locks in body heat and cause you to sweat.] My personal experience. I wear a belt like that whenever I exercise [which is everyday] and it has proven to be very effective. I've been doing this about 2 weeks and I've loss 7 pounds and about 1.5-2 in. off my waist. |
