Best bike for a larger female? |
I'm about 270 lbs--I've already lost 30--and I've decided that I want to buy a bike to help add more exercise into my day. What suggestions do you have for a bike? I'd like to ride it around town and on the bike paths. Please help! Thanks! =) I rode at 260 lbs, No big deal. Good price and pretty color blue if you I'm pretty heavy myself and I have found that adult tricycles are pretty comfortable. They generally have large seats that have good cushioning. Also, if it has a basket on the back, you can go shopping with it. Just remember to get a good lock with a cable as a chain. I would go with a mountian bike, Sturdy frame, options of a ten speed, with bigger tires...congrats on your weight loss...hope this helps |
