Great Exercise for a Husky? |
I have a almost 3 yr old Husky, purebred. I take him on about 2.5 mile bike ride. I want to him to gain more muscle. Any ideas? He's on a high protein diet..We have a family member that does sledding....I'll chec k it out. Thanks Talk to some Husky breeders. Better yet, find some sled dog teams, maybe there are some with websites, and contact them. The would be your best resource; Go until he is tired. Not drop dead tired, but just tired. If you really want him to get worked up, get him trained to pull a sled or another vehicle. This will give him muscle, and help him burn off all that uneeded energy. weights atart off low the medium pulling go to a club to learn you CAn harm your dog if done wrog..and a higher protein food u could fined out what sled dogs r feed i'm sure that would help alot and give him strength for his 2.5 mile run lol |
