As a teenager, is this okay?


im 5'4 1/2 inches tall and weigh ... 120 - 125 lbs. I'm a recovered anorexic but am looking to lose about 10-20 lbs - i'm not happy with the way I look. I've decided to try not to restrict, but do it the 'healthy' way. (Which is harder than it looks). I exercise quite heavily... about 8 - 10 hours of dancing a week + running in the mornings and the exercise bike at nights. I dont over do it on the exercise - i stop before i pass out :)

This is what I eat everyday.

Breakfast - Oats made with water and a 1 1/2 teaspoons of fresh honey

Morning Tea - 1 Small Apple

Lunch - 1 1/2 cups of salad with pepper

Afternoon Snack - 1 Small Apple

Dinner - Chinese Hokkien Noodles with Tofu and Vegetables

Is this okay? Oh and i'm 15 1/2 yrs old and female

Do not forget to eat. It is useless if you don't eat well. if you like to maintain your weight just have a discipline in eating. just maintain everyday exercise. there you can maintain your weight.

No, it's not o.k. First of all, you don't need to lose weight, and if you are a "recovered" anorexic, then you should consult your parents and doctor before attempting any weight-loss regimen. You'd better stop what you're doing immediately, before you end up in the hospital.

if you're unhappy with the way you look, losing weight isn't the way to go, especially for someone as small as you and even more so for a recovering Anorexic.

you dont need to lose weight.
instead, you need to turn the "fat" you may not want into muscle.

you'll be healtier and stronger.

You should not lose weight and you should eat more protein. Try baked fish, unless you're vegan. For the amount of execise you do, you should eat more food. Egg white omelets with lots of veggies is good. You can buy egg whites in a carton. I don't like meat, so I have to work to get my protein. I buy Organic Food Bars that have 22 grams of protein.

What u are doing is not ok u need to eat more & exercise less. u say your a recovering anorexic. once your an anorexic you'll always be one.have u got an therapy for this? what would your therapist say? u say your not happy with the way u look, & that your a recovering anorexic isn't that part of the illness?

NO! don't be dumb! you are going to end up in the hospital and die oh well! u should use your brain if u even have one! over exercises is so bad! and that IS what you are doing! you are going to accidentally kill yourself and your death will be considered a suicide! STOP NOW AND TALK TO YOUR DOCTOR! DUMBASS! it happened to my sister and people like you who wont admit to having a problem are a disgrace!

That is normal because teen females tend to eat more because they have theyre periods and youre starting through puberty and if u think that its not normal....go and start exercising!! get active!! have fun!! dance to your favorite song!

Stop torturing yourself. Are you trying to be Kate Moss etc?
Eat normal..at least 4 times. Avoid or take less fatty, oily, sugar if possible.
Excercise regularly.
Enjoy life ok! ..and the food too!

if you weigh 120 and want to lose 10-20 lbs i think your still anorexic

your almost the weight minimum for your age, please stop what your doing asap. nobody notices how much you weigh, and I know its hard with people judging and people making shots at you for stupidest little things but you just have to realize its your life, and in the end we die you DO NOT need to waste your time on a ... diet. so stop with the 'small apples' haha and change that to like 'honey bbq chicken chipotle' you really need to relax. i know, i know, you want to be healthy, but christ the calories you eat and the amount you workout its the same as not eating. that is definetely not ok. ask your doctor, or something. talk to a friend who you can trust. hell, talk to me. im almost 15 and i understand what its like but you have to just live, if people make fun of you or not that doesnt affect anything unless YOU LET IT.

Your very young to say your unhappy with your body, chances are, with all that work your doing your going to hurt yourself in the long run. In some respects, Id suggest toning it down some. You sound like a race horse!

Within the next, maybe 5-10 years, your body will go through allot of changes that will shape you into something new. And I'm pretty sure that with what your doing right now, you'll turn out to be a fine young lady.

Do your best not to hurt yourself, beauty is not worth it, your always beautiful in SOMEONES eyes, be it your parents, a friend, a boy friend or girlfriend.
