Need help with exercise/diet?


I am 15, male, I like mounting Biking... i do 16 mile rides up hills.... and i play alot of tennis... i was just wondering if i wanted to shape up a bit...loose a few lbs ... what wuld be the best way to do this?? also by doing these what muscles am i helping??

I would say your legs and your arms are very strong.

Any type of cardiovascular exercise (walking, jogging, cycling, elliptical, treadmill) would help you lose a few pounds. You have said you do the mountain biking which is uphill, but you should opt for a more balanced, constant burn, such as biking at a consistent speed for 20-30 minutes on flat, or more flatter surfaces for a more complete cardiovascular exercise.

As of right now, I would say your hamstrings, and upper leg muscles, gluteal, and your biceps, and triceps are strong. You would want to do weight training that strengthens your chest (pectoralis, deltoid) muscles, and your back (latissimus dorsi) muscles, as to get a more complete training of your body's muscles.

Breakfast: Yogurt.
Lunch: Salad.
Dinner: Chicken with veg.
Snacks: Fruit.

With this you will lose the weight quickly but heathily.

Only drink water and run for 30 minutes a day.
