I have an exercise question.? |
So, I weigh 190 pounds and I am 5 feet and 5 inches tall. I recently bought an exercise bike and I bike 16 miles a day about 15.4mph. Am I going to be able lose weight?? I also watch what I eat. Limit your biking to 30 - 45 minutes each time. definately a good start. Try adding some weight lifting in there to help tone your muscles and increase your metabolism. |

If you feel the cranks are too wimpy, your Local Bike Shop sh... In most ways the stationary bike is better since there's no traffic to slow you down, or rain to cut your ride short etc. Most bikes can be programmed to do "hills" or intervals etc... You'll mainly be working on Cardio/Aerobic improvement if you maintain a high BPM with low gears and spinning at high RPM. Use higher gears a lot though and you'll really be working on sp... |
