I want to get rid of spare tyres, tone stomach, bum and legs, and remove bingo wings? |
So which piece of gym equipment should I buy? A treadmill, cross trainer or exercise bike? I'm already power walking, so wanted something extra to do at home. Cross trainer definately you want to incorperate as many body parts as possible during the workout. Yes a treadmill will work over time but it won't tone your upper body. Don't waste your money... you can exercise without fancy gym equipment you won't use all the time... your body can work for you... just do it. I would go with the treadmill for the sole reason that when I took up jogging I noticed my whole body toned up. Try walking at first and gradually add in a few minutes of jogging at a time. Try doing sit ups aswell. It's far better to do a small amount of exercise consistently and build it up than to throw yourself into it and be exhausted and then not do anything for ages. Well on the bags that the foods come in it is on the 2000 calories a day basis. So maybe have 1500 foods for meals (500 each meal) Then 500 for snacks 3 times a day which is around 166 calories e... That is a diet for disaster ! You might not get fat...but you will not feel or LOOK healthy. Your going to be skinny with, lousy skin , dull hair , dead eyes! You need more fruits...and vege... yes, biking is exellent. Other things would be jump rope, squats, lunges, or climbing up and down some stairs ...Specialized Rockhopper Comp 29er Assuming that is the one recommended -- its a very strong bike that you should be very happy with. If you feel the cranks are too wimpy, your Local Bike Shop sh... In most ways the stationary bike is better since there's no traffic to slow you down, or rain to cut your ride short etc. Most bikes can be programmed to do "hills" or intervals etc... You'll mainly be working on Cardio/Aerobic improvement if you maintain a high BPM with low gears and spinning at high RPM. Use higher gears a lot though and you'll really be working on sp... You don't need a web site or instructions. Buy a trainer and just follow the instructions that come in the box. It's very simple. HTH ...It depends on the heart rate. At lower heart rates you burn more fat. At higher rates you burn more sugar. that is why walking is as effective as running if you want ot lose weight. If you exercise... |
