How Much Weight Can I Lose A Week By Using an Exercise Bike? |
I'm 18, 5'2 and weigh about 145 Pounds. My goal is to weigh at least 125 or 130. I look alright, but there's this obnoxious roll around my middle that I absolutely can't stand! Here is what I'm planning to do, and I would like to know an estimate as to how much weight I can lose a week. You could lose 3 to 5 lbs a week... That is an excellent exercise plan I'd stick to it. i am guessing about 6 pounds first week then 3 every week after....girls dont lose weight that easy........all depends on what you eat....dont starve yourself b/c you have to have calories to lose.....your your body will be fasting....and you willnt lose anything at all...you will gain more fat.....i dont think losing 15 pd will make you flabby either....... I did the same thing just without the Vitamin Water. I lost 2-3 pounds a week. Make sure you keep up with it and don't "skip a day". Than everything you worked for will be gone. No it wont be sagging skin. It will be muscle. u know what you can lose a lot but you know what would work even more if you eat less and more often that woiuld help but exercising bike does help a lot and it aslo depends on how much time you use the bike This is actually one of the healthiest ways to lose weight. Cardiovascular workouts (biking and running) help you get fit all over and make you feel really good. Hope that helps! About 10 lbs??? Or more, depending on your body. Guys lose weight faster. Girls/Females have 10% more fat than guys. wow, or you can just swim an exersice bike doesnt let u burn much calories !!!! Maybe over 9000 pounds? Not sure. Quite a bit if you use it daily. and cut out nasty foods. Your plan sounds really good, make sure you are getting enough carbs though b/c you'll need it for the cardio. Whole wheat/grains, veggies, and fruits will be best for fuel and to keep you full. Naps are actually good because your body will need rest to recover and during recovery is when your body makes it's changes. The cardio should control any weight around your mid section and a good diet will help alot too. Do no less than 20 mins for each cardio session and low intensity will use more fat as fuel as opposed to using more carbs as fuel. Don't rush it, results come in time..usually about 6 weeks to start seeing results but you may see them quicker and you'll definitely feel better right away! I'm not sure what a healthy weight loss for one week is, a couple pounds is usually average when it's done in a healthy way. Try to burn at least 300 calories per exercise session, depending on your mode of cardio that should be easy! Try plugging in your info into one of the free weight loss websites. I recommended sparkpeople.com. If you can, cut out the vitamin water completely. It's just a load of sugar, with a couple vitamins you could otherwise get by just eating more fruits and vegetables. Try not to think of this as restricting, but rather as adding healthy foods. Eat non-healthy foods once in a while, but in moderation. Don't cut out naps! Lack of sleep has actually been proven to CAUSE weight gain, because it adds stress which could lead to overeating, or emotional eating. You said you wanted to loose weight in the belly area. Thus, you'll need to do some ab exercise. I don't know if you're interested in hearing any, so I'm not going to write a whole bunch out. If you'd like, you can email me and I'd be happy to help. No, you will not have excess skin. Because of your young age, the body will adjust. Also, you are not THAT overweight, so you won't need to loose a ton of weight, which is usually the cause for excess skin. There is no way to exactly know how much you will loose, but if you stick to the plan, you could loose 15 pounds in about 2 months. My reasoning: It's doctor recommended to loose 2 every week. So 2 X 4 is 8 per month. 8 X 2 is 16 pounds. |
