Better exercise? Walking or riding a bike?


About 2-3 miles...

Which is better exercise?

Walking 2-3 miles at a brisk pace or riding a multi-gear bike over the same amount at a brisk pace?

Well, it boils down to what you like and love to do......

If you love walking, this would be the best exercise for you.

If you prefer biking, then by all means go for it.

What I'm getting at is this: no point forcing yourself to walk if you hate it or if you feel biking sucks......Bec you won't do a good workout and you'd quit the min you'd the excuse......

It's downright important you do one that you love to do and enjoy doing, to stay long in it to reap the benefits.

Of course, if you wanna compare calories burning wise in the same amount of time and distance, biking obviously burns off more calories bec it's of higher intensity......

depends, normally walking is better exercise, but it depends on if you are going up hill, then i would say bike! But mostly i would just say walking, as long as you are waliking at a brisk pace at all times!

Definitely walking ..
bikes can be unhealthy if you use them for a long time
