What are the best exercise bikes to buy? Under $500...? |
I live in Buffalo. The cold weather is aweful on my asthma- hence the need for an exercise bike to ride on inside during these cold months. Honestly, most cyclists don't own or use exercise bikes much. Most would use a bike trainer in cold weather and of course ride our bikes as much as possible. We generally don't know much about what are good exercise bikes are available. Try posting in the fitness section. A real bike - it challenges you so much more. If you own a bike, it is slightly pointless UNLESS you get real bad weather. I found these good, cheap too!: |

They do a lot of things. They strengthen your cardio muscle and it's good for your heart. They tone muscle in your thighs and calves. Also, they burn calories. Exercise bikes are great to do i... run outside swimming's actually best of the two though, i would say treadmill ...it may work, all things are different for different people. Just substituting water for soda and other sugary drinks such as juices that are not 100% juice will help you lose weight. Just rememb... At least you weight is good. To tighten up those'hard to work areas' the eliptical machine is very good for that. You can dial up the resistance to give those target areas a real good wo... i can give you three different workouts. I am giving you three because if you do the SAME program...you may hit a plateau and not lose weight. if you vary you workout...your body will react to diff... Eating 600 calories of chocolate is not going to make you gain weight. Eating 600 calories of chocolate EVERY day will make you gain weight. 3500 calories make a pound. You ate 600... obvi... No, it won't... Your body will build the muscle it needs to do those activities and then stop building anymore.. Quick fixating on the weight on the scale! Muscle is a lot denser then fat ... yes you are but just not very much, ideally a good cardio training zone is 165 to your max which is approximately 220 minus your age. bring it up a level each time you train ... |
