Will the exercise bike give me nice legs?


ive just burnt 200 calories on my exercise bike.
i burnt 200cals last night, also.
if i continue using my exercise bike, will it give me a nice butt and legs? (combined with a healthy balanced diet).
im a 20 y.o girl

I don't use an exercise bike but I use a trainer, which is my mountain bike supported on a magnetic resistance device. As I progress through gears the workout becomes tougher and tougher.

Yes, you will get nice legs as well as a great butt. If you want to see true results, you MUST work out between 45 minutes to 1 hour per day, no less, at least 4 days per week. Your body does not start burning fat until 15 or so minutes into your workout. Therefore, the first 15 are actually a bodily warm-up. Take this seriously because it is just the fact of the matter.

Furthermore, being young helps and a controlled diet is definitely key. If at all possible on your exercise bike, try to increase your resistance about 5 minutes at a time until it get so tough you can barely make it. Then lower your resistance back down again until you are comfortable. If you use this "stepping up" method about 3 times in your workout, it should take you through 45 minutes to an hour before you know it. But it will be hard. Oh yea, in case you haven't yet, invest in a good bike for the summer. It easily becomes an addiction. Good riding!
