How can i find a generator that will attach to an exercise bike or rower, and convert human power to electric? |
i believe there are scientist in scotland working on a generator that will attach to a treadmill converting human power into electricity, but there was no details on how to contact them, how can i contact them or find out information on this new concept New concept? Where have you been. contacting the gentleman in scottland may be a long ways off. I have seen these generators before, but that are all hand made. Once you understand the concepts, you can make one with no problem And why would you want to do that? The average human can generate electricity worth 10 cents per day and will eat extra food worth $5-10 just to make up for the energy loss. It's totally nonsensical. If you don't believe me, calculate it for yourself. There are some people that have a need for such generators. Not really practical on the larger scale, on the smaller scale they fill a need for people that have no other source of power. Lights for bicycles are powered by dynamos driven by bicycle wheels. Look for such dynamos in a bicycle store. |
