Can anyone tell me if riding a exercise bike is good for working your inner and outer thighs? yes its a gud way but for quicker results grab a barbell and do squats Source(s): i know i do it then your thigh will become firmer and muscular, that's awful, please don't do that, slow swimming or aerobic dance are much more better. for inner and outer thighs....the best thing is squats....holding 5-10 pound weights in your hands......you can point your toes outward and inward and you will feel the burn......YOU WILL KNOW which muscles you are working...... Yes Getting used to varying the degree of work - which will get you out of the saddle, as if you are going up a hill, or sprinting for short distances - and building up your stamina to cycle for increasing amounts of time will help you achieve the goal you are seeking in working the legs. Riding an exercise bike is a cardio exercise. It burns off fat from your entire body so your thighs (inner and outer), if flabby and "fatty", will benefit too. However, I think, you mobilise your legs more, rather than your thighs, in riding the exercise bike. To work your thighs, do thigh toning exercise instead. This will strenghten and sculpt the thighs so they become firmer and tighter. Inner thigh exercises - instructions to do them: http://www.perfect-body-toning.com/inner...
