Im a pear shaped lady.On the exercise bike 15 to 20min a day but it not doing any good fo my hips.any tips?.? You start burning fat at 20 minutes of exercise. You also have to do weight training. i'm not sure how many weeks you have been doing this exercise, but I have heard fitness experts say to do 30-45 minutes of bike at lowest resistance, as fast as you can. Do this 6 days a week and in 10 weeks there will be a noticeable difference I'm with the butterfly, but your gonna have to get some heat on this subject Running in the warmest time of the day is what I do but your inside so put on extra shorts to put heat where it is necessary and ride hard over 40 gang and people always say "you don't have any stomach! Howdju do that???" Try doing one of the machines where you have to stand up to exercise, like the elliptical. I'm pear shaped as well (seems most of my weight is in my booty & thighs) &, I use the elliptical. The thing I like about it is that you can change the ramp height to work different parts of your lower body (butt, thighs, calves). So, not only am I getting my cardio in, but, targeting the different muscles in my lower half as well. |
