Is it better to run or ride a bike for exercise?

It all depends. Running burns more calories, but biking is easier on your knees and feet. Change it up and do some of both if you get easily bored.

run because your not sitting you are putting all your weight on your legs so it gives you a better work out
riding helps you train and build your leg muscles

running helps you lose weight fast.

It really depends. both are going to be good for your cardiovascular. Cycling will take a lot less of a toll on your body. Your knees won't hurt as much from cycling. In order for it to be good excercise though, you should pedal most of the time. No coasting if you can avoid it. Use a gear that requires a little work. Running on the other hand, you take off and goes as long as you can.
