Which is a better exercise to lose weight, jogging or bike riding? Whichever one you do longer will burn the most calories and will help you lose more weight. So pick the one you enjoy. If you pick bike riding, only count the time you are pedaling and not when you are coasting down hill. Jogging and eating right food. probably jogging because its more intense but you can bike ride for longer Bike riding is the better of those 2, but the best way is to swim laps. Swimming burns more calories and is healthier for your respiratory system. Plus it is all-around fun. bike riding is easier on the joints and you can do it a form of transportation They are both beneficial to you because both work out different muscles. I would think jogging would be better than bike riding because it tires you out more and causes you to burn more energy. Bike riding is good, but it also allows you to rest and coast down hills and such. A good mix of both is probably going to give you the best results. the best exercise is the one you are most likely to stick with. if you hate jogging, don't do it! find any activity that you enjoy and try to stick with it. change activities periodically(cross training) to relieve boredom-throw in a sport like hiking or golf or tennis as a change of pace. the key to remember is do what you like the most, you're more likely to stick with it and consistency is key! |
