Concerning exercise bikes, is obeying the weight capacity important? I'm an ogre, you see, and I understand that the weight capacity is important for treadmills as the parts in it could wear out. But bikes? As long as the seat is held up by a steel frame, does it really matter if i'm 20-50 lbs over the weight capacity?
20 to 50 pounds over the weight limit is not that important. You need exercise. That bicycle is made to support weight. Bicycles are rigid. As long as you are not jumping up and down while you are riding you should be fine. Yeah. Yeah it is. That's like saying "bridge over this gorge says the weight limit is 500 pounds. will it be okay if there is 550 punds on it?".
